Jessica Friedrich studied law at the Johannes-Gutenberg-University in Mainz with a focus on criminal law/criminal defense and a specialization in commercial criminal law. Subsequently, Jessica Friedrich completed her legal clerkship with a focus on criminal law in the Higher Regional Court District of Frankfurt am Main.
Since July 2018 Jessica Friedrich has been working for Knierim & Kollegen Rechtsanwälte, first as a research assistant, then as a lawyer. She defends and advises individual defendants as well as companies, primarily in criminal law relating to business and tax offences, but also in general criminal law. Her focus is on compliance, criminal law support for internal investigations and on criminal tax proceedings. One example is the criminal law advice of an auditing company under compliance aspects. Furthermore, she represents and advises witnesses and victims of crime.
Furthermore, Jessica Friedrich is a member of the German Centre for Economic Criminal Law (DZWiSt) and since 2019 has been a permanent author of the C.H. Beck Specialized Service Criminal Law.
